This landscape window stands in the middle of hedges. The area around Nuttel and Wemkendorf has a remarkably dense, well-preserved network of rampart hedges, which is remarkable for the Ammerland region. As former border markers, the wall hedges characterise the Ammerland park landscape in a very special way. They guarantee the character of this landscape with only 10% of the Ammerland forest.
